Individual Therapy

I understand that you have a choice and variety of individual therapist to support you. That is why I will work to get to know you and meet you where you at in your journey. I have a variety of appointments that can work with your life schedule.  I work in-home, in office or I have virtual sessions available.

Child Therapy

Children communicate through play, there fore their treatment may look different that an adult.  I have a variety of toys and therapeutic books that I use to help children express their feelings.  Children react to trauma differently than adults so meeting them where they are and letting them have some autonomy over the services they receive can support the therapeutic process.

Family Therapy

Families go through a variety of changes and navigating theses changes and challenges are not always easy.  There are times that you need to seek support from a neutral party to address concerns with in your unit. Parenting styles, separations, Communication are some of the concerns that can be supported with the therapeutic environment.

Child-Parent Psychotherapy

Child Parent Psychotherapy is a specific intervention that helps a parent understand how specific events (trauma) affect the child parent relationship through play. Clinician will collaborate with families to understand the event, and allow the child through play a space to communicate and process their experience.

My Approach & Philosophy

My approach to therapy is to understand and create a strong therapeutic relationship that will support and strengthen my clients in every aspect of their life. I have experience working with children and families with complex concerns, in different areas of their lives. These concerns include trauma, Intimate/domestic violence attachment and bonding, depression, ADHD/ADD, martial/parent child relationship issues, grief/loss, substance use, and mood disorders as well as self-harming behaviors. I have many different therapeutic approaches that I utilize to help my clients heal from disruptions in their lives. Solution Focused therapy allows me to partner with my client and identify solutions that will work for them and provide the best outcomes.

I support families to advocate for educational services such as IEP’s/504 plans to help their children access their education. I work with schools to support children growth and development within their educational setting.

Understanding a family’s strengths will allow for a family to grow and identify and achieve goals and sustain them. My purpose is to help people find their strength and facilitate growth so they can change their situations.
